Permits and Paint

Cory came over briefly today to check on our permits and then to call for an inspection so he can pour our sidewalk this weekend.  He agreed with the changes that we discussed earlier, so if the inspector comes tomorrow, we should have a new sidewalk by the end of the weekend.

The spots next to the door on the Florida Room
are covered with the sealer.

We have waited long enough for the plaster on the back of the garage to dry, so Rick went out today to paint on a coat to seal the new plaster.   Of course, the primer/ sealer is a very thin mixture, so it did not completely cover all of the dark grey plaster. That is OK.  We will cover it all with two coats of finish coat.

Rick tries to "stretch" the little bit of sealer
that we have left from the first time we
painted the house.

Thankfully, the sealer was not shiny when it dried.

Because the yellow paint has faded slightly in the Florida sun, we will have to paint both walls completely with the finish coats of paint.  In the end, we will be happy to "refresh" this part of the house.
